This is Bug the cat and he can be a jerk.

See that mail on the floor?  Bug knocked it down. Bug is not supposed to be on the counter and he knows it too.  Some days when I’m working he is such a good cat and just lies about and lets me work. Other days he needs attention, wants attention and when he does not get that attention he gets into things, like the pile of mail on top of the counter, which is knows he is not supposed to get onto.

So when I come up the stairs after hearing something fall and find this, all he can do is glare at me since after all, it is my fault he got into things he should not have since I did not play with him when he asked me too.
