Do you need all of the STUFF? In the next three days, do a little inventory of the unnecessary things in your life.<br \/>\nNegative or harming thoughts and self-imposed obstacles\u00e2\u20ac\u201d Get rid of them.<br \/>\nOver abundance of non-perishable food items, clothes, books\u00e2\u20ac\u201d Donate them<br \/>\nOld habits, grievances, and grudges\u00e2\u20ac\u201d Release them.<br \/>\nUse this time to purge the excess, as well as recognizing when you are craving more than you actually Need.<br \/>\nAsk yourself \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Is this craving fueled by fear, jealousy, cultural expectations, mindlessness or ________?\u00e2\u20ac\u009d Know that you are already enough. The mantra is simply: \u00e2\u20ac\u0153 I am enough\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n<p>Notice how the yamas have woven together basic moral principles, that when mindfully practiced, can create a harmonic system of checks and balances. When in doubt, run the dilemma through the filter of the 5 yamas.
