Alaska, boilers, and appointments

Up at the crack of dawn to be ready for a boiler tune-up appointment that I set nearly a month ago and instead of picking up the phone to hear them say, “we’re on our way” I get a call saying they probably won’t even make it to me today due to a bunch of emergency call-outs. Good thing I already have tomorrow day off…..
